The Natural Rubber Yoga Mat is the everyday mat we reach for first: a dense 4 mm base that feels steady under hands and feet, with a fine matte top that keeps its grip as your practice warms up.
The base is made from natural tree rubber, which gives the mat its weight and its reluctance to slide on wooden or tiled floors. On top sits a smooth, closed-cell surface in deep olive that does not soak up sweat, so it wipes clean in seconds after a flowing class. At 68 cm wide it gives you a little more room than a standard mat for wide-legged poses, and at 4 mm thick it balances cushioning for knees with the stable connection to the floor you want in standing balances.

Care: wipe the top with a damp cloth and a drop of mild soap after practice and let the mat dry flat before rolling it. Keep it out of direct sunlight and away from radiators, which can dry out natural rubber. Do not machine wash or soak.
Good to know: this product contains natural rubber latex and is not suitable for anyone with a latex allergy. A light natural rubber scent is normal when the mat is new and fades after a few days unrolled in a ventilated room.

Care & Safety

In general: wipe yoga mats with a damp cloth and a drop of mild soap and let them dry flat before rolling; keep natural rubber and cork out of direct sunlight; machine wash removable cotton covers and textiles at 30 degrees. Only products with a natural rubber base (the Natural Rubber Yoga Mat and the Cork Yoga Mat) contain latex; this is stated on those product pages. Practise within your own comfort and, if you are pregnant or have a medical condition, check with a healthcare professional before starting a new practice. Our products are yoga accessories, not medical devices.
